Pop Up North Queensland (PUNQ)
Community Information Session
Pop Up North Queensland (PUNQ) is a place-making visual and performance art festival with an edge. It activates spaces, histories, and futures through art. It encourages critical dialogue, looking at the sate of play in this large regional landscape.
A new regional art trail in 2021 expands upon previous audiences (in Townsville) and takes them further into the heart of North Queensland (NQ). A regional arts trail will take local and traveling audiences to explore artworks, workshops and experiences in Townsville, Magnetic Island, Palm Island, Charters Towers and Ingham.
The PUNQ Festival (30 July to 8 August) is produced by umbrella studio contemporary arts and we would like to works you to create a great North Queensland Art Festival.
