Anzac Day Charters Towers

Anzac Day is the day to remember every Australian who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. A National Day of remembrance for Australia and New Zealand, originally commemorated annually by both countries on 25 April to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli during World War I.
Anzac Day commemorative services are held in Hervey Range, Pentland, Greenvale, Ravenswood and Sellheim, with a Dawn Service at the Charters Towers War Cemetery and morning service at the Cenotaph, observe the Anzac Parade as it makes its way along Gill Street from City Hall to the Cenotaph.
