Drive Inspiration

Planning on driving around Queensland?

Following are a couple of suggestions that will take you through our great region.

The Overlander's Way

From the Great Barrier Reef in Townsville North Queensland to the rocky outcrops of Outback Queensland, follow the footsteps of the rugged cattle drovers as you retrace their steps on Overlanders Way.

The Overlander’s Way links that Great Barrier Reef at Townsville to Mt Isa in the Outback. Just off the beaten track are same perfect places to visit like Porcupine Gorge and the fossils at Richmond.

Great Inland Way

Starting over the border at St George, though Roma, Emerald and up to Cooktown, the Great Inland Way is the country alternative to the coastal route.

Explore tropical gorges, national parks, spectacular waterfalls and quaint country towns as you adventure along the Great Inland Way from Hebel in Outback Queensland to Cairns in Tropical North Queensland.
